Class Description
Learn the age old technique of wire wrapping, a great way of showing off shaped stones. No soldering or gluing is involved and you will learn to twist and interlock wire to create stunning statement pieces.
Through this intensive class you will learn how to use a range of different shaped wires to create settings for stones and beads and how to create structural pieces using wire.
During the class, an experienced tutor will guide you through the process of working with the wire, creating twists, curls and coils. Once you have covered the basic techniques you will work through 2-3 projects throughout the day to develop your skills and should leave with 2-3 finished pieces of jewellery.
The class is suitable for beginners but is also great for anyone who has done some beading or wire work before.
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.
We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
