LJS was set up in 2009 by jewellery designer Jessica Rose . It began with just one class a month from a community hall in South London and within a few short years has grown to be London's most popular jewellery training venue.
Jessica first attended a beginners beading jewellery class for fun and loved it so much that she decided to leave her full time job and made the brave move to set up her own jewellery business, making and selling jewellery. After a few years Jessica began teaching jewellery making classes in a community hall as a side-line. She found it so enjoyable that she decided to set up the London Jewellery School as a centre for world-class fun and accessible jewellery training in London.
All of Jessica's training has been through attending short courses like the ones we run at the jewellery school and she is a real advocate and believer in this method of learning. Her achievements in setting up the school have been recognised through winning a number of awards, gaining attention from the press and being featured on TV news and documentaries.
