Hello & Welcome (I'm Jessica Rose)
Hello and welcome to the London Jewellery School website - I am so delighted you are here and hopefully you are just as excited and in love with jewellery making as we are.
I am the Founder & Director of the London Jewellery School which started from very humble beginnings back in 2009. We now run 100's of classes teaching 1000's of jewellers every year how to make jewellery. In our last count I think we have trainined over 20,000 students to date! That's alot of jewellery.
My passion is supporting jewellery designers to run sucessful, profitable and sustainable jewellery businesses whist developing making skills. Here are the ways we can work together:

Jessica fell in love with jewellery making after leaving school and enrolling on her first ever jewellery making class. With original plans to set up and run her own label, selling her handmade jewellery, Jessica eventually left her university course and part-time job to focus on her jewellery plans full-time.
She began teaching others how to make their own jewellery as a sideline to her business initially, but enjoyed teaching so much that it wasn't long before she had launched her own jewellery school. Her enthusiastic charm and creative flair for teaching lead to extremely popular classes that opened up the world of jewellery making to 100s of new students. In order to grow she took on a team of highly skilled and talented jewellery tutors and moved to a central London location in the ideally situated Hatton Garden, back in 2010.
A few years later and the London Jewellery School has grown to be a leading name in the industry attracting 1000s of students and visitors from London, the UK and abroad. We run over 80 different types of jewellery making class, have a thriving membership scheme and offer distance learning courses. On top of this, the school runs fun jewellery making hen parties, corporate events and a unique 'make your own wedding rings workshop'
Building LJS to be the successful business it is today hasn't always been easy. Jessica has faced huge personal as well as professional difficulties along the journey resulting in the threat of bankruptcy early on. However these adversities have only made her and her team all the more determined and resilient to challenges.
Jessica now works hard on developing the business, ensuring quality and managing a vibrant staff team. Exciting plans are always in the pipeline for the future, to bring the fun and creativity of jewellery making to a wider audience. Other than making jewellery herself, Jessica also spends her time promoting the school, speaking or making at events and supporting up and coming jewellers setting up their own jewellery business.
