This is an excellent class for anyone wanting to work in fashion jewellery, set up a jewellery business or make fashion pieces for yourself! Although if you have any ideas, pictures or pieces of fashion jewellery you like please feel free to bring them along and we can help you develop ideas from there.
Spend the day exploring the world of fashion. In this class you will be working with a range of materials including fabrics, beads, metal and much more.
The day begins with making a 'mood board' which will encourage you to focus on design, colours and style. You will then go on to make some fashion jewellery inspired by your board, using a range of beads, buttons, ribbons, fabric, chain etc...
Techniques covered in this class include:
Designing and creating a mood board
Extracting inspiration from a range of sources and collecting these into your pieces
Using a range of materials to make your fashion jewellery pieces
And much more...
Whether you want to make jewellery as a hobby or take it further as a home business, this is a great class for everyone. It covers all of the basics so that you can continue to make beautiful and professional jewellery from home.
The day runs from 10am - 5pm and we fit in lots of projects so that you really get value for money out of the day. Most students make at least 2-3 pieces of finished jewellery to take home. You will be surprised with what you can achieve.

What some of our students have said about this class
'Very enjoyable, learnt loads and developed my own style of jewellery after never making any before' -Jacqueline Bays
'This was a brilliant class. I turned up having done nothing like this before, but there were others who were more experienced. The tutor gave a good level of support and help, but let everyone work at their own pace. It was really well organised' -Kate Lawrence
