An absolute must for beaders who have been bitten by the handmade jewellery making bug! Our intermediate beading is a great follow-on class from the beginners class, but is also perfect for anyone who has made beaded jewellery before and would like to develop their skills and take their work to the next level.
Beaded jewellery is very popular and extremely fashionable, and in this class, you will learn the skills needed to make your own collection of beaded jewellery using beads, chain and wire and more advanced jewellery making techniques.
In this intensive one day class, you will be taught a variety of intermediate beading techniques including: basic wire wrapping, using more complex bead patterns, ring making and adding new materials to your beadwork.
Techniques covered in this class include:
- How to make lovely wrapped cocktail rings from wire and beads
- How to make intermediate level beaded bracelets and necklaces using beads, connectors and chain.
- How to craft your own clasps and earwires.
- Basic wire wrapping skills.
- How to use chain and wire in your jewellery.
And much more...
Students usually make 4-5 pieces of unique jewellery to take away.
