This fun new evening course runs over 5 weeks and covers the basic techniques of making silver jewellery from traditional methods such as:

- Sawing

- Annealing

- Soldering

- Sanding

- Polishing

- Adding texture

- Using hand tools and rolling mills

This class is suitable for complete beginners and we have a maximum of six students per class allowing lots of one-on-one attention. Silver for most projects is included in the course fee but if you want to do larger projects extra silver can be brought on the class.

Students usually make around 3 finished pieces of silver jewellery to take away with them throughout the course and there is plenty advice as to where tools and materials can be purchased to carry on with silver jewellery making after the class.
