Teacher Training: Certificate in Teaching Jewellery
This is a 3 day intensive teacher training course that is certified by the London Jewellery School. It is suitable for anyone who is experienced in jewellery making techniques of any kind who would like to begin teaching or who already does teach but would like to develop their teaching skills and gain certification in this area.
Please note that no jewellery techniques will be taught on this course, it is all based on teaching.

- Timing, scheduling and pacing
- Health and safety
- Project based classes
- Samples for your classes
- Writing class notes
- Tools and materials
- Teaching practice
- Evaluation and Feedback
Throughout the first two days you will participate in a workshop covering the areas above. This is a certification course and you will be assessed and will need to gain a certain level in order to pass the course.
On the final day of the course you will be asked to deliver a 20 minute session to the group, producing a full set of notes, and lesson plan. You will also be asked to feedback on how others did and will gain feedback yourself from the group. There will be a short written test to assess your knowledge on the areas covered in the course which will also be completed on day 3.
This course is run by professional jewellery teachers with years of teaching experience and jewellery making experience with plenty of useful hints and tips to offer.
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.
We take an hour break for lunch and you are welcome to bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. Alternatively there are plenty of places nearby to get lunch.

Please Note: Our classes are suitable for those aged 16 and over & for health and safety reasons, all students need to wear closed toe shoes when coming to the workshop. If you have any access requirements, please contact us before booking a course. And due to our small class sizes we are unable to offer transfers or refunds on our courses once booked.
