The perfect follow on class from our beginners wax carving course, but also great for anyone who has done some wax carving before and would like to take there skills to the next level.
Areas and techniques that can be covered in this class:
- More complex pieces including pendants and earrings
- Designing and making a collection
- Working with symmetry and being able to make symmetrical pieces
- Developing ideas and creating pieces with multiple layers
and much more.
You will be guided by our expert tutor on how to make your masters in wax and then once they have been cast, cleaning them to give a professional finish.
Please note: As with all of our wax classes you will need to pay for the pieces you have cast in silver, gold or other metals. As a guide most silver rings cost around £7-25 and smaller pieces such as earrings and pendents are often around £5-12 bigger pieces will be more but the tutor will always check the price with you before casting.
