A great follow on class from the Beginners Metal Clay. This is an intermediate level metal clay class that runs over two consecutive days from the start date.
It is suitable for anyone who has attended the beginners metal clay class or has previous experience in metal clay and would like to learn new techniques in order to take their work up to the next level.
Like all of our courses this is an intensive two days where we will fit in lots of info and techniques over a range of different projects to engage and inspire you.
Techniques covered in this class include:
- Making a textured lentil bead
- Keum-boo (Adding Gold)
- Using the syringe and cork clay to make a filigree bead
- Setting a golden nugget in clay
- Ring making - make a full ring with a stone setting and a silver wire ring combined with metal clay
- Natural stone setting
- Combining glass and metal clay
& much more
So it really is a packed two days!
please make sure you are confident in working in metal clay and are aware of all of the basics before booking this class as we will not have time to go over them and you will not get the most out this class if you are a beginner.
