Silversmithing for Jewellery Makers is a comprehensive guide to working with silver, taking the reader though the basic skills, surface treatments and specialist techniques. Each technique or treatment is first explained with a detailed overview, then step-by-step illustrated tutorials show how to use that technique and apply it to your own jewellery designs.
With photographs of contemporary designs and profiles of international jewellery makers, this authoritative and lusciously illustrated book offers an inspirational insight into the art and craft of silver jewellery making for today’s artisan.
‘This new book is the perfect addition to any student or jewellers toolbox as it provides a detailed and clear overview of all the techniques in silversmithing that a jeweller could need.
