How did you get involved with jewellery making?:
I did a degree in Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts at London Guildhall University (Sir John Cass School of Art) and then started working for companies from there as I really wanted to be involved with fashion jewellery.
Things I’ve done:
After my degree I worked as a fashion Jewellery Designer, designing for Next, River island, Paul smith, Adele Marie, Oasis and Miss Selfridge. I also worked as a stylist assistant whilst at university which was fantastic and I’ve also written a jewellery book for kids and regularly contribute to making jewellery magazine.
Things I do now:
I teach at London Jewellery School and I’m also working on a producing a series of surface patterns.
My biggest achievement so far:
I think it has to be writing the jewellery book, it was a great experience and it’s really lovely to see something that you’ve achieved in down in print.
Things I hope to achieve in the future:
I want to continue teaching which I love, inspiring people to make fashion jewellery and also bring out a line of homeware using my patterns.
Three words that describe me are:
Creative, eclectic and colourful.
I am inspired by:
Oh lots of things, l really enjoy reading artists blogs, it’s great to see how other people work creatively, travelling when it’s possible, and looking through flea markets, you never know what you might find.
My Favourite jeweller is:
