Students - Alumni
Many of our students go on to set up their own jewellery business, work in the field, further training or even teaching jewellery making.
See what some of our some of our past students are up to now...
Ikuko set up her fine jewellery brand iKuria in 2012 after taking a range of courses at the London Jewellery School including beginners silver jewellery and a selection of evening classes. We are always delighted to see her business going from strength to strength ever since.
Ikuko uses gold, silver and natural gemstones, aiming at mid-to-high-end markets. Her distinctively elegant and delicate style is loved by women of all backgrounds and age groups.
In spring 2013, she became the first Japanese jeweller to be shortlisted for the New Designer of the Year category of the UK Jewellery Awards.
Stockists include Wolf and Badger, Tomfoolery and various other international boutiques.

Zarafa Designs is the jewellery brand set up and run by Mary Ann Nelson. a former London Jewellery School student who we liked so much, we invited her back to teach. She now runs many of the resin courses and teaches metal clay classes at the jewellery school.
Her work has received much acclaim over the years and many of her collections are sold at the British Museum as well as through fairs and events and to private clients.

Menna is a regular student at the London Jewellery School and has taken many jewellery courses with us including the 1-Year Diploma in Creative Jewellery.
After many years working as a dental surgeon, LJS helped Menna to find her passion in jewellery and set up her own business.
Her jewellery combines precious metal clay, sterling silver and 24 carat gold with a range of beautiful gemstones. Her designs are inspired by a passion for Ancient Welsh and Celtic art, as well as the inspirational designs and scenes from Ancient Egypt.
