A little look at the lovely Linda Jones – Bead and wire jewellery expert

We are super excited to be welcoming international bead and wire jewellery expert Linda Jones to the London Jewellery School for a wire jewelry masterclass this October. But for those of you who don’t know her and her work here is a quick sneek peak…

Who is Linda Jones?

Linda is a jeweller, teacher, author and a lovely lady. She is perhaps best known for writing an astonishing 8 project books on various different styles of wire and beaded jewellery which have been hugely popular and can be found on the bookshelves of nearly every budding jeweller.

With a true passion for anything wire, Linda has also set up the Wire Workers Guild – a forum for anyone who enjoys working with wire, which has over 200 members worldwide and is free to join (so get clicking if you are a wire lover like us).

You may also know Linda’s work from the countless number of jewellery making projects she has appearing in the many jewellery and craft magazines both in the UK and USA not to mention the regular videos she does for bead TV.

So now can you see why we are excited she is coming to LJS???

The class is aimed at anyone who has done some jewellery making before, so if you fancy coming along but have never had a go at making we would recommend taking a beginners beading class first so that you know the basics, that way you will get the most out of the class.
