Intern opportunity at Hatton Garden jewellery company

Internship at IBB (London) on the design and development desk

International Bullion & Metal Brokers (IBB) is an international group of companies whose core business in the manufacture, distribution and marketing of gold, diamond and silver jewellery.

The company is looking for an intern to assist on the design and development desk which deals with customers who have run out of workshop or production space and need to expand which can involve helping them to progress by getting the product made at IBB’s factory and often end up helping with the design and development as well.

The intern role would involve assisting with this process and with the work of the brand manager of the Lily and Lotty range.

Tasks will include:

• Photocopying
• Taking orders for the Lily and Lotty brand
• Answering the telephone for both public and trade enquiries
• Keeping excel spreadsheets up to date

Training will be given as necessary.

Please note that this internship is full time, Monday to Friday 9am-5pm for a minimum of three months. There is a full-time position available that the company would be looking to fill once the internship period ends.

Basic requirements:

• IT literate with knowledge of basic Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Willing to learn

An interest in jewellery and design would be beneficial.

This is a good opportunity for a person who would like a busy and varied position.
