LJS tutor Rosie Sanders named new designer of the year

Congratulations to Rosie Sanders who won the new designer of the year category at the UK Jewellery Awards at the Tower of London this week.

Rosie, who teaches silver and wood jewellery classes at London Jewellery School, beat other up-and-coming jewellers Kristjan Eyjolfsson, Sara Gunn, Phoebe Sherwood-Moore, Cara Tonkin, Charlotte Valkeniers and Tessa Packard.

The UK Jewellery Awards celebrate innovation, design and success across the whole jewellery industry from luxury brands and major retailers to independent designers. Other winners included Cookson Gold which won the Innovation Award, Jewellery Designer of the Year Ornella Iannuzzi, Ethical Jewellery Business Pippa Small and Gemphoria, Etailer of the Year.
