We have responded to feedback from students that were looking for a course in between our beginners silver and our more advanced silver courses. So now we have two!

Beginners Silver Jewellery I, 10-5pm (one day), £149
This course, taken by hundreds of students over the years, remains the same. On BSJ1 you will learn to make lovely silver jewellery using traditional techniques a great beginners class and an excellent introduction to making silver jewellery. Covering techniques like sawing, soldering, annealing, polishing and finishing you will make a soldered silver ring and a pierced silver pendant. This is a great course to start with to see if you will enjoy working with silver.
If you have already taken this course we recommend you move onto Beginners Silver Jewellery II or Beginners Silver Jewellery III. You can choose to do one or both. They are a great introduction to our more advanced silver jewellery courses.
*NEW* Beginners Silver Jewellery II, 10-5pm (one day), £149
You will take your skills up a level, practice soldering multiple pieces and work with the doming technique. You will make a double domed ring and a pair of domed earrings or a pendant. This will give you lots more scope in your jewellery making skills so it is a great follow on from BSJ1
*NEW* Beginners Silver Jewellery III, 10-5pm (one day), £149
Let’s add some beautiful gemstones to your work! In this day course, you will be guided by a tutor to make a silver bangle and set a simple cabochon stone using a pre-made bezel cup – the perfect introduction to stone setting. If there is time, you will also make a pair of gemstone earrings.
