Valentines versus Galentines. Which would you choose?

· · · Comments

We’re having a debate in the LJS offices at the moment about which will be most popular – Valentines or Galentines.

We have our traditional Valentines day evening taster workshop on 14th February (6.30-9pm) for couples to come and make each other a silver ring. It has always been a popular option and is a great alternative to dinner, flowers and chocolates.

However, in 2018 we added a Galentines evening taster workshop to the schedule and that was also popular! Galentines day was made popular on the show Parks and Recreation and has since become a day to celebrate friendship.

On our Galentines class two friends will each make a silver pendant that they saw in half to keep one part for themselves and to give the other to their friend. It’s a fab celebration of friendship and anyone who wants to give it a go is welcome (you don’t have to be gals).

So which will be the most popular this year? Time will tell.
