Why are the London Jewellery School premises closing?
We have unfortunately made the decision that we will need to close our Hatton Garden studios with immediate effect. We have looked into all the financials of the business and the current government requirements for re-opening and had to conclude it would just not be possible both physically in our space and financially. This was a very hard decision to make but if we close now we are in a position to refund every student that has pre-paid for courses in 2020. It could prove very difficult to pay funds back at a later time.
Will you be reopening?
We do hope to re-open and have a physical teaching space again but it would not be until summer 2021 at the earliest and would depend on a lot of factors including finding suitable premises, not just the end of the pandemic.
What are my options for learning jewellery making now?

Can I still take the Diploma in Silver Jewellery?
Yes! The good news is the London Jewellery School is still here and we are very excited to announce that we will be teaching our over-subscribed Diploma in Silver Jewellery online from this September. This is a fully flexible and supported course with a mix of online learning, individual mentoring from professional jewellers and regular assessment. This is fantastic news for many of you that have been in touch over the last seven years because you have wanted to do the course but weren’t able to travel to London each week or were unable to commit to the programme on the same day for a year.
