Learn how to incorporate gemstones with wire with wire wrapping techniques, no soldering or gluing is involved! You will learn to twist and interlock wire to create stunning statement pieces.
Through this intensive class, you will learn how to use a range of different shaped wires to create settings for stones and beads and how to create structural pieces using wire.
You will learn how to:
- working with the wire, creating twists, curls and coils
Once you have covered the basic techniques, you will work through 2-3 projects throughout the day to develop your skills and should leave with 2-3 finished pieces of jewellery. On this course, you will have the chance to make a ring, pendant and pair of earrings using copper and silver-plated or German wire.
The class is suitable for beginners, but is also great for anyone who has done some beading or wire work before.

As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable. The size of the classes is kept small to allow plenty of one-on-one attention and the maximum number of students for this class is 8.
