This intensive seven week Diploma in Silver Jewellery Course has been designed to help you develop the bench skills you need to produce professional silver jewellery.
The course focuses exclusively on silversmithing techniques and will take you from basic silver jewellery skills to being able to design and produce your own collection using a range of techniques and design skills. The course includes taught workshops and guided workbench days which are supported by professional jewellers to help you practice your skills and complete your own designs. The course is taught in small groups in a fully-equipped jewellery workshop with an allowance of 20g of silver per applicable class.

JUNE:- Start date – Monday 1st June 2020 (10am-5pm) - End date – Friday 17th July 2020
JULY:- Start date - Monday 20th July 2020 (10am-5pm) End date - Friday 4th Sept 2020
We are only running 2 intensive summer course in 2020 so hurry as places are very limited
Tutors:
The workshops on this course are taught by experienced and successful designer jewellers including Hayley Kruger, Penny Akester, Helen Walls, Amy Keeper and Michelle Leaver.
What is included:
Included in the cost of the course are all of the basic materials needed for each lesson, including 20g of silver for each applicable class, use of our fully equipped studios during your classes and our expert tuition. You will also be assigned a support tutor who will mentor and support you.
As a special gift for our Diploma students you will also have 1 years membership to Jewellers Academy with 100s of online tutorials to support your in-person learning (worth £365).
What will be expected of you:
You will be expected to attend all classes throughout the programme and need 90% attendance or more to pass the course. If you miss a class it will be up to you to make up the work missed in your own time and at your own cost.
