These three courses are run over 4 days and you can select your preferred dates from the course pages above. We will be adding more throughout the year subject to student demand.
Stone Setting in Silver (2 days)
This is the perfect introduction to stone setting over two days and you will learn three settings:
1. Cabochon setting
2. Flush (gypsy) setting
3. Tube setting
Stone Setting: Shaped Cabochons (1 day)
Develop your cabochon setting skills and learn to work with shaped stones including squares, rectangles, pear/teardrop and marquise as well as setting rosecut stones & more.
Collet Setting (1 day)
After mastering the foundations of your stone settting. Move on to this intensive 1 day collet setting course where you will learn to measure out and create a collet setting, solder to a ring and set the stone.
By the end of the three courses you will have made at least 5 stone settings for different types of stone and will have an understanding of how to continue developing your setting skills from home.
There are a maximum of 8 students per class, allowing plenty of 1-2-1 support from the tutor.

You have up to 1 year to take all three courses from booking the bundle although we do recommend taking them within 3 months of each other if you can to build up your jewellery making skills.
We will be adding more classes of each type with weekday and weekend dates throughout the year.
What you need to bring to this class:
For this class you don't need to bring anything but yourself as everything, including all silver is provided.
As with all of our classes, all materials are included in the cost of the class as well as plenty of tea, coffee and luxury biscuits! The classes are all run by expert tutors with years of professional experience who are friendly, knowledgeable and approachable.
We take an hour break for lunch and there are plenty of local shops to get food from, or you can always bring a packed lunch to eat in the studio. If you have any questions regarding this, or other courses please don't hesitate to get in touch.
